THE SHORT REPORT OF HARD LIFE ART CLUB OF FOUR MONTHS , FROM JANUARY TO MAY 2013. The Hard Life Art Club is an Art clubs, which provides art Education and sports to the kids here in Moshi Tanzania, this club is now working with more than 95 kids, from around Moshi area. In january 2023, the HLAC supported 12 students by providing school uniforms and all school supplies. In january we received some sports
equipments, one soccer ball, 12 football sox,15 boxes of crayons for kids. we also received art supplies and 3 soccer balls from Whitney Haynes and Heather Haynes from Canada. In february, a lot of visitors came to visit us some fro the CACHA Caravan of Canada, we raised some money for buying some new supplies and payments of buildings bills for 6 months.

Also we have got some helping promises some are already comfirmed and some are not yet. In march The HLAC got new technology of Glass blowing from US (Matt), a lot of kids got new science technology on how blow glasses and make some shapes and decorations like ear rings, The HLAC participated at the Kilimanjaro Marathon, HLAC and Shay Bell together with The Kilimahewa Kids we displayed our works and raised awareness to the people about what we are doing in the community here. We raised 60,000 ths $ 40, the money went towards buying some art supplies for the HLAC.

In april The HLAC went to the O'brien school for the Maasai, the Maasai are the pastoral community here in Tanzania, they are moving from one grazing area to another, most of their kids are not enrolled to school because of their movements, so the O'brien School for the Maasai is providing the better place for the Maasai kids/community to get education, since we went there the Maasai kids wants us to come even twice in a week, because the school is outside the city of Moshi it is sometimes difficult for all of us to attend art classes with Maasai kids, but we are working on this plan and see how we can do with them on the future.

Also we established some paper craft workshop which costs about 100,000 tshs about $ 65, we are happy because Shay Bell donated the money for that workshop and the kids are enjoying it and they started designed some crafts works. we made an Art Sylabus which will guide us on teaching. In May We received 430,000 $ 268 we served this money for for the constractions of our own building in the future, We received two soccer balls,20 painting brushes of difrent sizes,4 tubes of white paints,2 tubes of black and yellow paints from Melissa Brayan last saturday.

We have got some successful from January up to this month of May, but we have some challenges as follow firstly we do not have enough materials for all kids and new kids to use for their art classes, Transports and building. Our targeting is now on raising more money for our new building in the future and keeping provides Art education to all kids here.

We are so sorry these descriptions is not well looking because there is no photos, but next time we will do the photos with descriptions. Anyone who has opinions are wants to support the art club please do not feel shay to write to us. W are giving special thanks to all who donated anything to the club and we are welcoming you again and again, another thanks is to all who are still working with us up to this time to make things happen (Pamoja Tunaweza Women's Centre). HLAC MAY 2013.
